Overview

We undertake asbestos management surveys for Pure Gym nationally.

We plan work to avoid peak times in the gym, as some areas are restricted while work is being undertaken. Planning work around each gym’s peak hours helps in reducing disruption to gym users.

Health and Safety is a key priority on this contract, as we are working not only alongside Pure Gym employees but the general public. Our signage does not state that asbestos works are being undertaken and our team try to stay out of sight when they are in the appropriate PPE and RPE – these small steps help avoid potential panic among the public.

Staff complete a site-specific induction prior to commencing work and wear a visible photo ID at all times. All our staff have an enhanced DBS check undertaken and have completed Safeguarding training.

Reports are sent to Pure Gym electronically via email within 3 days, and are also made available via a secure online portal. Portal access can be tailored according to need for each gym, and staff can download reports from the portal as PDFs.
